FIVE DAYS left until we board the plane for Africa! Last September it felt like forever and now it is here! Today it became even more real as our Church graciously prayed over us. I love volunteering each week in GOKids. Really, I LOVE my 3rd grade class! During large group today Cassie and Rob called me up to the front and prayed for me. I got chills as they were praying for me and felt very emotional. I got a picture with my GOKids class and told them I was "taking them to Africa with me."
During church at Willowbrook at Hampton Cove Pastor Steve Lacy called us up front to pray for our team. The feeling as everyone was praying was a sense of extreme peace and joy! What a blessing! GOD is AWEsome and our church rocks!! I am excited to see what HE has planned for our team and everyone we encounter!
Lord, be with our team as we go and show love to these children and whoever else we come in contact with! Prepare the children's hearts to hear Your Word and prepare us to May we shine Your light and give You glory in all things! Keep our team safe and guide us in the way You want us to go. Thank You for Your love! Thank you for Your never-ending, never failing grace! Thank You for Your hand in my life. Fill me with YOUR love so that I may bubble out on everyone else! I love You and praise You!
